Geminel shows what paid work is likely to cost before you start it, and what it cost afterwards. Everything is counted in credits. Prices are on Pricing.
Before you start
- Look beside a button that starts paid work, for example in the sheet that writes captions. A small label that starts with a tilde, followed by a figure in credits, is the estimate.
- Press the label to see the range and the lines that make it up.
- The label can also read Included (your plan covers it), Not charged, or Free.
- When the amount is large, or is a big part of your balance, or would take it below zero, pressing the button first opens Use credits?. It says "This will use about" the estimated figure. Press Continue to start, or cancel to leave things as they are.
- If your balance cannot cover the work, the label reads Top up to continue for the person who pays, and Ask the payer to top up for everyone else. See Top up credits with a card.
An estimate is a guess within a range. The final cost can differ.
After the work is done
- A post shows This post: with its cost, and With versions when it has versions. Press the row to open What this post cost.
- When you review a video, the row Cost of this video shows the estimate, then the actual figure once it is known.
- A figure that is still moving shows a dotted underline. Its tip says May still change until the period is settled. While work runs, it reads "so far".
- A result that costs nothing reads Included in your plan, Included in your trial or Not charged.
See the whole workspace
- Home shows Credits this period. Press it to go to the usage.
- Or open the launcher, press Settings, then Usage.
- Pick the period. The total sits at the top. Use By activity, By agent, By service or Days to see where the credits went. By member appears for the workspace owner and the payer only.
- Below, Top posts and videos lists the ones that used the most, and Storage lists storage.
- Press Download CSV to save the figures.
The payer also sees the spending of every workspace they pay for in the console: Credits has Spend by workspace, and Billing has See what used them, which opens Usage for that workspace. See Credits: paying as you go.
Good to know
- Estimates and costs show only where they are switched on. When credits run out, replies to comments and messages keep running.
- Usage and Credits this period are for people who may read the workspace totals. If a member does not see them, ask the owner or us with Help and feedback, see Get help.
- Storage is counted separately: see Storage: what counts and how it is billed.
- If you don't see a cost label where this guide describes one, ask us with Help and feedback.
