Your video team plans and makes your videos around the editor. This guide shows who is on it, how to steer its style and how to read what it learns from your results.
See your team
- Open Settings, then Agents.
- Find the section Video team. It lists the team: Director, Hook writer, Plan critic, Writer, Storyboard, Editor, Reviewer and Copy, each with a short line on what it does. Rows under Done by code are steps that need no AI.
- If you see Video team is off for this workspace, someone who can approve posts turns on Use the video team.
Steer one video with Direction
- On the Format step, or on Plan & Script, press Direction.
- For each axis, such as Hook type, Opening, Style or Music mood, leave Auto to let the team decide, or pick one value to pin.
- Press Reset to Auto to clear a group, then Use this direction.
On a finished video, Why this video (see Review a video and its checks) shows the recipe the team chose.
Set the team's style
- In the Video team section, press Team settings.
- Under Settings, turn the team on or off with Use the video team, see the Stops line, and change cooldown overrides. Change in Autonomy opens Autonomy.
- Under House style, pick a Base style, pin parts of the look under Pinned texture, and list Signature moves the team likes and Banned moves it never uses. Press Save.
Everyone in the workspace can read these. Only someone who can approve posts can change them.
Read the variety
- In Team settings, open Variety.
- See Effective distinct videos, Most used hook type, Most used format and Experiments, which counts videos that tried a new combination.
- Read the lists under Never featured and Resting for now to see what your videos have not shown yet.
What the team learns
Once enough of your videos have results, the team learns from what kept people watching, and it still keeps trying new combinations. A line on Variety says whether learning is on and what is missing. Some networks must first report watch time for your videos.
Good to know
- If you don't see Video team or Team settings, ask us with Help and feedback.
- Some options, such as paid images or generated video, appear only where they are switched on. Their cost shows beside the action and in Credits.
