The Review step shows your finished video, what went into it and the checks it passed, so you can approve it with confidence.
Review the video
- Open the post and go to Review. The screen is called Review the video.
- While Geminel works, you see Steps with a state for each. Cancel run stops it.
- When the edit is ready, the line reads The edit is ready. Nothing is rendered until you approve it. Press Approve and render.
- When the video is rendered, play it. On a phone it sits small beside the state line.
- Open What is in it for the scenes, what each says and how long it lasts. Ingredients lists the files, the music and the voice that were used.
- Read Checks. Each row ends in Passed, Check it or Failed. The checks cover the length for the format, the assets you marked as must appear, figures and claims against your sources, subtitles, stretches where nothing changes and, for outside content, a rights check. A claims or rights row opens the script or the sources so you can fix it.
- Read the Caption and its hashtags. Press Rewrite with AI to get a new one while the post is a draft.
- When you are happy, press Approve at the foot. The post goes on to review, as in Approve, schedule and publish.
If you made the video with the production team, Why this video shows the recipe it chose and what was new. See Your video team.
Change it first
- Open More actions for this video and choose Request changes. Under What should change?, write what you want and press Send back for a new edit. Geminel revises the edit and keeps the scenes you locked.
- To adjust it yourself, go back to Edit or, if you see The video was edited after its last render, press Render it again (see Edit a video).
- On a video narrated by Geminel, the same menu has Voice-over to go back to the voice.
- Discard this video drops the proposed edit and renders nothing. Your script and sources stay, so you can start again from them.
Good to know
- A check is information. It does not stop the video by itself, but read the ones marked Check it or Failed before you approve.
- If the video carries the AI label, a switch named Label as made with AI sits on this screen. It can be changed only while the post is a draft, in review or approved.
- Rendering and the team's work can cost credits. The cost shows on the screen, and Credits explains how it is counted.
- Checks appear once the video is rendered.
