Your ideas team proposes posts for the days you choose, using your brand, your knowledge base and how your past posts did. You review each idea and turn the ones you like into draft posts. Nothing is published from the Planner.
Generate a plan
- Open the launcher and press Planner.
- Press Generate plan.
- Set From and To, the first and last day to plan. You can also set Posts a week (leave it empty to use the default) and a Focus, a theme or campaign to lean on.
- Press Generate plan again. If your workspace shows costs, the sheet shows what the plan costs and you may be asked to confirm first. See Credits.
- Wait while your ideas team drafts. The plan fills with one row per post.
If the plan shows Generation failed, press Try again to run it again in place.
Read the plan
Ideas are grouped by day, with the columns Kind, Pillar, Time and Goes to, and a state: Proposed, Approved or Discarded. Press an idea to open it beside the plan. You see its hook, concept and draft caption, and under Why this idea the angle and signals behind it and the critic's review.
How this plan was made lists the steps. Other ideas shows ideas that were written and reviewed but not chosen: they are there to read.
Approve, edit or discard
- Approve turns an idea into a draft post. Press it on the row or at the top of the open idea, then Open to go to the post.
- Edit opens Edit planned post: Working title, Format, Scheduled for, Targets, Brief, Caption and Hashtags. Press Save. If someone changed the idea meanwhile, press Reload.
- Write another idea replaces this idea and its caption with a new one for the same slot.
- Discard… is in the idea's menu. You can say why, and later plans avoid similar ideas.
- To approve everything left, open the menu at the top (More actions for the planner), choose Approve all and confirm. Discard plan drops what is still Proposed. Draft posts already created are kept.
Use Other plans in the same menu to open an earlier plan.
Good to know
- Draft posts still go through review before anything goes out: see Approve, schedule and publish. An approved idea's destinations carry its suggested time, so the draft appears in the calendar.
- Approve all can skip ideas for a content type your autonomy settings keep on asking. You can approve those one by one.
- Only someone who can approve posts can generate or change a plan. Others see a note and can read the plan.
